It's been awhile...

well...it's been awhile since I've been here...

alot of things happened while i stopped posting...

July 25 - Aug 1: went to LA for FTE and it was EXCELLENT!
Aug 9 - Aug 11: went to Bark Lake

and now I'm here. back at home again. there are too many things to talk about...so many moments...I guess I'll start with FTE...met so many, and surprisingly smart Americans in the States. All of whom are more than qualified to be "Hunks-a Human Capital". Everyone there was great and willing to learn and the whole group bonded really closely in just a week or so. Amazing how much you can get to know a group of 35 in just 7 days. Learned SO much about economics and the way we should think about things. It was great. I could go on forever...but it wouldn't make much sense unless u were there.

And Bark. that i recently just returned from was SO GREAT! I was personally expecting to do the same thing as last year, sleep in the same dirrty cabins as last year but they didn't let me down. We had different cabins...or rather dorms...with A/C and other than the fact that we had to share it with the "bun buns" it was 10x better than last year's living space! Learned alot of random things i guess this year, we built our own hungy (a pit in the sand lined with rocks and used as a oven) and made our own dinner. The food was not the greatest, kinda sandy, but we did make it ourselves. It was a good feeling of accomplishment. Got addicted to the slapping game that I introduced. It's like some kinda plague...we were playing it wherever we went...with our shoulders, eyes, somebody suggested to play with our nose?! i had an awesome time!
Danny took pics at Bark: http://www.orangecurve.com/BarkLake2004/index.htm

bah. now it's already mid way into August...and school is looming around the corner. why. why must time pass by so quickly. don't think im ready to get back to work yet...

Everyone's Favourite Italian Plumber

Yes. i found out something i had never thought about yesterday...
I had never taken the time to think about what the actor who does the voice of Mario would look like...but everyone's friend - the television - gave me the answer.

His name is Charles Martinet, an old white guy from the states, i guess he's pretty cool for his age seeing as how he still games. But it was really weird when i found out...cuz he's basically Mario in person...weird...what's even scarier is when he talks in his Mario voice live. He's this white guy and his normal tone would be your regular deep man voice but Mario's voice on the other hand...i don't even know how many octaves higher it is, it was quite disturbing. An abnormally high pitched sound coming out of an old white guy...o u better believe it.

strange to find out how people get their quirky occupations...

It's that time again...

yea. i've decided that i might start to blog more often...or try to at least...

it's july...u know what that means...VY starts again...the hike is in about 2 months...Bark Lake is in a month...and the 4 times a week sessions never seemed so troublesome. yea...that's right...tuesday, thursday, saturday, sunday...tuesday, thursday, saturday, sunday...they really need to get some people who can speak english to do those sessions, and they expect to get other cultures...not with their HEAVY chinese accents

Got "new" teams...altho most teams did stay the same...my theory is that the loud people got ripped out of their original group and mixed around into the other ones ot make 4 new teams from the original 6 (of course alot of people didn't come back). Now we have 3 teams of 6 and 1 team of 5...i guess my team isn't too bad...actually it's almost exactly the same as last year. everyone who came back this year from my team last year is still in my team...+ Stephen the mysterious stranger from UTS (?!) and Bridgitte, who'll act like her loud usual self.

should be interesting tho. o well...I'll be leaving on a jet plane in abit more than 2 weeks to fly to LAX in LA for FTE or now known as GEFL. can't wait for that sweeeeeet...

in the mean time, get my fitness done by performing some outdoor activities...and might I add that tennis has never been better...2 new asian girls came from out of nowhere *wink wink* and tennis just hasn't been the same...o well...gonna go play tomorow! huha! go asian girls! i mean tennis! i love tennis!

Classics BBQ...if u didn't go u missed out

yup. what can I say about the Classics BBQ other than amazing. The sweet minty air of "Brooklin", streets with multiple names to throw u off, Mr. McLaren's 6 kids who are soon to be fiends (of Classics of course), bowling at a "nearby" bowling alley, and the New Exec CREAMing the olddies + old execs at bowling. it was sweeeeet...

that's basically it in a nutshell. activities here and there...Pente...By Jove...Ghost or more recently known as Ghast...it's an endless amount of hilarity! u missed out if u weren't there and so I feel sorry for you. sucker.

Classics BBQ also reminded me of this i don't know why but it did.

It's a Good Life after all...

so i went to Goodlife today for the first time...thanks to G for hookin' us up with the free guest passes...nicely done. It was a worthwhile experience i guess...a membership there wouldn't be that bad, if i actually took the intiative (hehehe i love this commic)to go there ALOT over the 8 weeks that im not in school...im thinking abotu it...

another reason why I should go to Goodlife? to see hot sweaty girls working out on like the treadmills...or stair climb machines...yea that's right! there are a decent amount there...mmm...hot girls...

yea. it's good. thus GOODlife. damn this is turning into some crazy commercial for Goodlife. to counterbalance what i've done...DON'T go to Goodlife! it's mine! all mine!

Happy Birthday to ME?!

Yes. the rumours are true, it indeed IS my birthday today....along with Yin Xia, Elizabeth Park (gr. 10G), Joey Yung(singer), Mamadou N'Diaye(sp.; NBA player), Tom Carter and a whole bunch of other people who i fail to recall at the current moment. But I also wish THEM a very happy birthday for today is the BEST day to have a birthday....if only we could ALL gather in one place somehow and drain everyone of their cash with the many many presents that they will have to get us...huha!

not only was it my birthday, but also the "last" day of school minus that random day next wednesday that apparently is a "real" school day. my ass it is...who's going ot be there? no one. So with all that said and done, math is tomorow, comp sci friday and truly, i will be RID of this horror called school for a WHOLE 2 months! w00t to that my friend!
